PlayOn Home and 1080p
PlayOn Home can now record in 1080p! You need a PlayOn Home plan, and a PC with sufficient processing power. To make 1080p recordings with PlayOn Home, go to the Settings menu in the PlayOn Home app and under Video Performance, select FHD.
Pro tip: To reduce CPU usage, after setting quality to FHD, click on the Advanced button and enable hardware acceleration if your PC supports it. If supported, one of the boxes will be checkable.
